Changes in the making.

Complete sad face....this is what happened after I did a oil change at my local Acura Dealer, they gave me a free 27 point inspection and found all of this.

I can change a CV Axle myself for 3/4 less of the price thats given. This is Dealer price so they also include labor. I know that the tranny fluid is old, never changed it after ownership of the car for 5 years, but I do feel it slipping now. engine mounts are naturally going to get worn, which is a given for the age of the car. My main concerns are the Leaks. I could never figure out why my power steering fluid was going low till I found out both my inner tie rods were ripped when I got it on the rack at school.
Mainly trying to figure out how much time till it starts getting worse...unless its already worse. Lol. Although one thing I know for sure, the check engine light has never came on, but it works...but I know it can't detect physical things.

I've done the cv axles,inner/outer tie rods, and tranny fluid change all within the last 6 months. Maybe it is time for a new rack for you. There like $175 after the core return through certain sites, and I'm sure you could do diy.

Well my time is over and I'm getting out of the car scene, so I'm parting out my rims and suspension and just going back to stock. It was nice while it lasted, but times are hard and I need to start helping my family with bills, so I'm getting out of the car scene for a while.
It was fun while it lasted.

yeah. those estimates are insane. replacing the rack shouldnt be much more than 8-900. replacing the whole cv axle is like a 45 minute job and shouldnt run you more than a few hundred. 1300 is robbery. second opinions all the way.

All back to stock! Thanks everyone for the great advice/compliments/ and much more throughout the 2 years I've been here. Getting ready to sale the car soon, so most likely not going to be on here very much often anymore. Although, my plans in the future is to save up for a 8th Gen Accord Coupe. Wish my luck!

Since everything is back to stock, going to be focusing more on functionality (Sway bars, engine mount bushing, UCA/LCA, tranny seal...everything needs to be replaced) for the time being.
After going back to stock, feeling a bit sad that everything is stock now...

Oh wow....I'm sorry....
That really is depressing, RemieGino14!
The only kinda good thing about that is you're forewarned about what could eventually give out.
Unfortunately, I don't know what it's like to drive a modified car, but I'm driving all stock and it's still fun! I drive like I'm all high-performance though (poor car!)
Rims???
What type of rims were your original gold ones??? im getting a cl with the same color and want these exact rims and coilovers... What kind of setup were you using when you took the pictures a while back??
