nice... so how does the ride feel like? is it the same or is it much bumpier? is the ride compromised? how much are you planning to drop it? i'd like a nice tuck... about one finger would be perfect! looks good bro

18's

Here are some pics of my car. The rims are 18" Motegi MR5, the drop is an Eibach Pro Kit (1.5") I do not have a camber kit as it is not needed with the mild drop. Just get a 4 wheel alignment afterwards. The tires are Kuhmo Ecsta 225/40/18 !

Thanks!

I can fit 1 1/2 fingers in the rear and about 2 1/2 in the front.

No camber kit (wasn't needed--alignment done by Acura dealer).

I have KYB AGX adjustable shocks.

dang! all clean cars... i really like your system MikeSwing. 97AcuraCL, your car is very clean as well. I love your rims. simple yet sweet. you car is kinna what i'm aiming for. thanks for posting. by the way, do you have a camber kit on your car? i'm thinking of getting coils... so i'll probably need a camber kit. i'm thinking around 2" in front and 1.75" in the back. hopefully no rub.

nope dont have a camber; the drop isn't even 6 months old yet; i can see the springs are starting to settle and i might need a camber in the future; but for now i'm camber free and i seem to be lined up str8. Its in despirate need of alignment though. I think i'll do the camber when i get shocks sometime later this summer. but i've gotta do the alignment asap.

Yeah, I know I need to drop the car but I'm not sure what shocks to get yet. Any ideas on whats gonna give me the best performance without any trouble? I want the Pro Kit or the Neuspeed because I don't want it too low and I don't wanna mess with a camber kit.

I recomend the Neuspeed Sport Springs; I've got em'. The drop is perfect; its not tucked but there is no gap. Rides almost as good as stock can't complain on the ride. I've had it for about 4 months or so now and the drop is still perfect;ride is still perfect. I have no camber kit and i'm riding on stock shocks. I reocmend 225/40-18's with this drop, as the 35s are too thin for my personal comfort and the drop is perfect with 40s. Hope this helps! :-)

thanks for your input... how much is the neuspeed sport springs drop? i think i might go for ground control coils instead. i like the fact that it can be adjusted. glad to hear that it rides just like stock. i'm definately gonna take your advice on the 225/40/18.. i'm in on the comfort factor as well. thanks!

rub rub rubBBbb

hey now..wats wrong with ground controls? mine ride stiff but still pretty comfortable compared to most other cars with coilover sleeves. actually, my ride's not too much different from when i had the pro kit on.

oh yea..dont go too low with an 18x 7.5 setup... i was rubbing hard when i first put it on..i still rub on the right side..i think i might need alignment again............................................. ............................
