okay i kno theres probably a million threads about this but im pretty knew to the site and everytime i try to search for something i get a million things that have nothing to do with tail lights,

all i wanna kno is whats better, spraying your tail lights to black them out or tint?
i dont want them super dark cause if i get pulled over all the time im gunna be pissed but im just curious what you guys think

Spray them with the Night Visions. If you get pulled over (in new york) you have 3 days to fix the problem and get it signed off by a police officer.

To remove night shades quick and easy, put some gasoline on a rag and in small circles rub the rag over the tail light until its gone.

Once you get the ticked signed off, spray them again.

 

the only thing is i dont want them all that dark, cause i dont wanna have cop problems, how easy would it be to lets say "control" the shade

 

beyond easy. Here is a theoretical reference...

1 coat of night shades = 35% tint
2 coats of night shades = 20% tint
3 coats of night shades = 5% tint
4+ coats of night shades = holyshit% tint

 

Okay so I shouldn't do tint?

 

regular window tint is too thin and won't hold up, spray tint is easier to apply and easier to remove

 

how strict are the cops out in florida?? they cant be as bad as sac cops.. i got a D.W.A. a few times

 

cops arent bad, i just dont want the issue
