Solution for Amber 7440's
Solution for Amber 7440's
I've found an alternative for the expensive "JDM" amber 7440 turn signal bulbs for those who want to use clear housings. The solution? An orange Sharpie marker. The Sharpie makes the color dark enough while still allowing the bulb to remain transparent. Quick and easy, and can be applied to your stock bulbs without worry. The Sharpie shouldn't wear off because the signals aren't on long enough for them to really heat up.
Red, orange, green, and maybe even blue might work, but I haven't had a chance to try those colors yet. I've had the clear signals for two weeks and have been searching for amber bulbs until I decided to try this.

fitty-fo' cents (if it works...), now that's
