Like the title says I painted my valve cover bright red looks great with my k&n Ram air filter I wanna get the 2.2 Vtec Honda Motor Co. painted Black to match the slots that hold the valves. I got all the nasty dirt and grease off with wd 40, then I cleaned it off with rubbing alchohol. covered all the ports with toilet paper then I painted first with High temp primer, then sprayed a couple of coats of Bright red engine paint. It looks really good. Clean look and sporty Looks good with my headers too..although I should've painted those red as well, but I didn't really think about that I was too excited just installing them. I'd snap a photo but I don't have a sd card for my camera anymore.

 

was thinking about this very same colour scheme for my cl. about to get it done in a few days or so .... will post pics.

 

 

what kind of paint did you guys use? high heat engine enamel? i dont feel like baking itttt

 

I used high temp ceramic for my 3.0 plastic covers, they sell high heat engine paint

 

did you bake it? pics?
