Installing Outside Temperature Sensor

I bought a GM auto-dimming mirror with a compass and temperature display. Anyone know of a good location to mount the sensor where it won't be affected by engine heat? I know Honda mounts the sensor on the headlight bracket on some models, but that seems like it would be affected by engine heat.

I searched, didn't find anything for CLs. Thanks!

I'd say if you could reach this far, somewhere down in the lower part of the front bumper, somewhere low and away from the engine

Thanks. Any tips on the best way to feed wire from the engine bay to the inside of the cabin and up through the A pillar? Looks like wiring enters the cabin through a few different points.
