had codes ran for CIL and its coming up as the EGR vavle. i did a little homework and it sounds like a pretty basic intake removal and replacement but i thought id see if anyone else had done on on a 2.2CL to find out if there are any tips or tricks.

Call your dealer, give them your vin, and ask them if you're still eligable for the egr exhaust warranty, it should go for 97's up to 150K miles

 

im well over 150K.

 

There's a diy on here for the 3.0 but I know 2.2 owners have done it as well
