It's been done... Not really my favorite thing but you can pull it off if you're a 3.0. You're going to need to cut a hole in the other side of the bumper. I would take it to a shop and just tell them what you want. They'll install the mufflers with custom piping. There is no dual exhaust "kit" for this car.

Engine is a 98-02 Accord. Not sure if the fitment is the same though. You're better off getting a muffler and piping done, IMO.

It needs to be custom, you can't bolt on an accord exhaust, you would have to get a y-pipe and custom piping run from an exhaust shop, it has been done

If the gas tank is in the way, would the custom piping fix that problem? And i should buy a Y pipe? Would that get in the way?

gas tank is in the way, tire well is in the way. If you do custom piping, i don't know where you can put the muffler.

The Y-pipe is how the break your exhaust into 2 pipes giving you dual exhausts, i've seen dual exhausts on a 2.3 and a 3.0 so it's possible, but you'll spend a good amount and it'll need to be custom from a good exhaust shop

That is what I was talking about. Not you.

Good luck with your exhaust, post pics if you do it.

It's been done, like I said it would need to be custom, and only an exhaust shop can tell you if it's feasable or not

x2

Also if you want to have the most free flowing/best exhaust for performance... check to see if the exhaust shop does mandrel bending. There are essentially no crimps, therefore less restriction & better flow. But keep in mind it's not going to kill you to not get mandrel bent.

When I say a "good exhaust shop" I just mean a shop that you can trust will do the job right, my buddy's exhaust has rusted and fallen off his altima like 5 times, you just wanna make sure that whoever you go to is gonna do a quality job, especially if it's not as simple as bolting up to the stock mounts, since going dual is more custom, you wanna make sure you have a shop that can do it, that's all i mean, there's lots of cali people on here, I'm sure someone can recommend a shop or 10

I've tried going dual exhaust before. Muffler Tech said its going to be almost impossible because the tire well is in the way. To get your dual exhaust, either you get rid of spare tires and bump up the tire well, or you put in a non-functional exhaust tip which has no muffler(just for looks). custom=not worth it. cheap=ghetto.
