I know that I'm bring this up from the DEAD but i don't care!!!! so save the trash talkin on how i'm a noob. But i wanted to know how to do the climate control. You stated in the first post that it could be done. so how? if you have a write up that would be great thanks.

I am working on a diy, just haven't had time to finish my project, I used LED's



But as you can see in the middle, I'm not done yet, ran into a problem with the way the outer buttons get their light

Please let me know as soon as you get it done thanks i'm very interested in this mod i have already done the clock. Speaking of LED's wheres a good place to buy them for the Gauge Cluster? Please let me know thanks

Thought I had it finished last night, had the addition added and working, but couldn't run the wires that I had them, so I grabbed new LED's and am gonna try again tonight

no worries i feel ya i just now got around to restoring my hid lights and installing my HID (that I've had since June) just please keep me updated on the progress thanks

i read this post today, and was thinkin bout trying it. then i saw the post that someone made about remembering about wrapping paper. i have clear red plastic present wrap. i tried it on top of the climate control and on top of my clock, it comes out good if i use 5 layers of it. i just finished doing my clock, i will post a picture later tonight. i had to cut the dimmer wire, its def. not as bright as stock, but illuminates enough that i can see it just fine at night. during the day might be a little tougher, we'll see.

Great DIY, very easy mod to do. I don't know about you guys, but personally I had to use three layers of Dasani film to get it to change to a nice blue. Looking forward to do the climate control and gauge cluster next.
