'97 rear deck removal
This is a well maintained vehicle, great paint and interior. The material covering the rear window deck is faded and starting to wear through. After installing new speakers I found that the covers were smaller than the original speaker covers thereby leaving a ring around the new covers.
Simply said, I need the procedure on how to completely remove the rear deck. I did see one post here that somewhat covered this but all the photos which been hosted for it are no longer active.
Any information that can be given on what material to use and where to use it to deaden any rattling from the speakers would be appreciated.
Thank you for any helped that can be provided.

You know that almost any light fiberboard or heavy cardboard will do. I'd start at a salvage yard to find a close match in color. If not, an art supply store may have what would work. How to remove the old one? Literally lay down on the trunk and look up. You will see the attaching fasteners.
