It is the typical story of buying a car from a little old lady whom had put few miles on it in 18 years; 124K. This CL is damn near pristine,
I know of no accident in which it was involved but the SRS light on the dash stays on, always when running, kind of annoying.
Is there a way to turn this light off?

FWIW: Considerable info. on this forum, as well as Youtube, relative to re-setting the SRS light. From a peace of mind perspective, especially, if you are not comfortable experimenting with the SRS system, ( CAN BE DANGEROUS ) you may want to have the system professionally checked, to insure the system has no faults. If no system faults exist, the SRS light can be easily re-set by any shop, that has the proper scanner. I believe there is a way to retrieve SRS codes manually as well, (Forum search is your friend), Important to note, that your air bags will probably NOT deploy in a collision, if the SRS light is on!
