Does anyone know if you can put 2nd Gen TL chrome door handles (outside) on a 1st gen CL? My brothers TL has them and they look like the same size and everything. Has anyone put these on there CL? THANKS!

 

I think the CL handles are more rounded on the outer trim, but I'm pretty sure it's never been tried before, take a pic and post it up so we can compare

 

I just want the handle itself(the chrome)

Not sure if it will work, the CL handle seems pointier to me, but it could work

I would say pick up an extra set of CL door handles and mess with them off the car

 

if you dont mind me asking why would you want these if they look the same?

HMMMMM I never even thought of re-doing them in chrome...

I dont usual like chrome but on Primrose it might look alright... if anyone can maybe cross reference some part numbers or can find pic's please post up! Thanks so far everyone

 

This wont work BTW! CL door handles are 9 1/2 inches long...TL door handles are 8 1/2 inches long and the actually leaver is 6 1/2 on CL's and TL's are 5 1/2 inches long...cant blame a person for trying

 

I have a spare CL door handle if you want to mess around with it, pm me
