Zex bottle opener

How do you know when the bottle is fully open or closed with the remote bottle opener? It doesn't stop or anything.

Yeah, the bottle opener's motor has a clutch which stops the motor's torque when the bottle is fully open or closed.

It's very similar to the motor on our power windows. When the window is fully up or down, the motor stops.

However, on the bottle opener, the motor will keep running even after the bottle is fully open or closed. But, the clutch deactivates the motors ability to over-tighten.

Zex says to press the switch fully for 2 seconds when opening or closing. This should be enough time for the bottle to be completely opened or closed.

EDIT: You can hear a distinct change in the motor's sound when it's opening (closing) the bottle, and when the valve is open (closed).
