yeah I bought a K&N filter and made a 3" intake outta plumbing pipe and couples for my old legend, since they never made intakes for them.

When I installed mine, there wasn't enough room to put the filter behind the driver's side headlight like in the accord....since the bays are SLIGHTLY different. I found what works best is to stick the intake pipe down towards the hole where the intake resonator was (behind driver's side turn signal), remove the splashguard underneath the car, and install the filter from underneath and secure.......I know it seems low to the ground and in some wet areas of the country some people may worry about hydrolock......but I've driven through 4 hurricane storms here in NC this past fall and NO PROBLEMS!
