1. a car that looks stock, but has lots of engine mods, and beats the hell out of you when you try to impress them with your 5 foot aluminum wing while revving your engine.
2. zaino makes all kinds of paint treatments, such as turtle wax, but much better
3. clear lenses make the cl, and 99% of all cars look better IMO.

First let me welcome you and your car to this board. Second there are no stupid questions. Everyone at one time or another had the same questions. So let me see if I can give you a better understanding of your questions.
1. A sleeper is a vehicle that has little in the looks department but is fast as shat.
2. Zaino is a brand and tyoe of wax some of us choose to use on this board.
3. Clears I don't think are rice but the badges are a toss up. I wanted them at first too but opted not to. Its your call some of us got them some of us dont its all up to you.

1. sleeper = fastvtecl and f0de's cars. you'll hear about them. out of shame.. bith of them have been wrecked. one got fixed and the other one (faster) is out of decomission permanently. 
so as it stands i think fastvtecl has the fastest first gen.. if not CL.
2. zaino...... excelent paint tratment. waxes, etc.
3. clears......they look much better on the first gen's than the amber lenses. the headlights dont have amber in them, so when you get the clears on the bottom, it makes the front of the car match

Welcome! You've already gotten good answers to the first two questions, so I'll add a different opinion on number 3. I don't necessarily think that clear corners and red badges are "ricey" (although they might be! 
), but I certainly think they are unnecessary and also degrade the looks of the car. I'm one of the few people around here who is not at all into "mods", because I love my CL as it is. Some people feel the need to express their individuality with attention-getting changes to their cars--I just have other outlets for that!

Welcome! 
I debated for months about getting clear bumper lenses for my CL. At first, I thought the clears were just "rice", but then it was pointed out to me the benefits of having the front end match up (coordinated).
Now I wish I would have gotten them sooner! They look great!

all the suspension in that car, my brand new toyo t1-s tires. UR flywheel, clutch.. kyb agx's.. ground control coilovers.. all gone.. i said the hell with it, i'd rather not see that misdrift accident shit.. i do have a passanger side rear view mirror housing tho.. found it on the ground where i hit the tree a few days after the crash..
btw my 4 doors going to be a sleeper too.. cept for the whole right hand drive thing might throw some off

the clear turns definitely add to the car. clear tails are a bit ricey and thank god they don't make those friggin altezzas for the our car....those things are the biggest abomination in the automotive world...well, right behind the hooptie's with the wheels jutting 8" out of the wheel well

Much agreed on the altezza tails (except for the IS300 and the RX since they were designed for them) and even more agreed on the "wide wheelbase" '84 rusted-out corollas with 100% tint and 5 15" subs (not in boxes just layin on the back seat) and wheels more expensive than the car itself.

and i hate those people with those kinda cars... anyone wanna fill them in that with the money they put into their POS they could have bought a nicer car in the first place?
