YBleagal or anyone that made a grill or has bondo exp..

I have been making my custom grill for a little time and I cant get the bondo smooth I have been sanding for days and there are still pitts and valleys in the bondo what is an easy way to clean it up and smooth it out I fugure by the time honda finishes with the tranny I can have it done I find out tomarrow if I have to replace the tranny

its hard to get is straight when you arent using a sanding block. but when it is dry add more bondo but only use the tipe of your finger to smear it on. then use 150 grit to even it out, then 400 and 600 to get it smooth. another thing is to spray abour 20 coats of primer (light coats) so the primer builds up. then sand the primer down to a couple coats. the primer is much easier to mold.
