wwfront lip install question

Hi~ I'm about to put the ww front lip on. where can i get the installation guide. And do i have to take off the stock lip or just put it over the stock lip? And can you give me some tips if you have? thanx people.

one more thing, my cl is black and the lip i got is black too but not painted. it looks pretty shiny to me, looks like painted. so i think i'm just gonna put it on without paint. what doyou think?

you put in on over your stock lip. Don't take anything off. It's easy to install. Just two bolts and 2 sided tape. Hardest part is drilling the holes in the right places of the lip. just place it on first and mark the 2 spots with a sharpee where you want the holes. I had mine on for about a month before I painted it. I thought it looked ok at first too, but trust me, get it painted first. The reason is because to paint it you will need to take it back off. unless you want your car stuck at the paint shop for 2 days, then you can just leave it on. pm me if you have any more questions, it should be really easy.

Go to wingswest.com and they have a model specific installation guide there. I would paint it if you have a premium model because the stock side skirts and rear lip are painted. If you just have a base with the unpainted sides and rear then maybe you can get away without painting it. I would still paint it, my 99 is black and I'm definately having mine painted when I get it.
