I know this is probably against rules or whatever, but since this is a specific request to the first gen'rs i felt it was appropriate.
I'm looking for a stock 3.0 muffler, does anyone have one i could buy off you or could you possibly get one at a decent price for me. thanks

 

the dealership sells the stock axle back for only $399 and it bolts right up, but it doesnt come with the tips thats extra..

 

I saw a brand new oem 3.0 muffler on ebay a few days ago, look on there.

 

i have mine, long as i dont get pulled over and have to replace mine with stock i would be ok.. and shipping would be a pain wouldnt it?

 

i dont think shipping would be that bad, maybe like 10 bucks.

^ I've got a Magnaflow 14805 that Im seriously thinkin of gettin rid of. Its been on for just under a year (got it Christmas 2004), but is still in awesome shape. I've got a 97 3.0, Im guessin you got a 3.0 as well?

You wanna take some pics of your stock muffler? If it looks to be in nice shape, I'd definitely be willing to do a swap with you. If there's any way that you could take yours off and ship it to me, I could then throw it on immediately, and ship off the Magnaflow to you. Please PM me if youre actually interested!

 

I should have one soon. I bought a salvaged 3.0CL which was hit in the front. Rear is 100% intact. Anyway, if you wanna swap, i'll let you know when i get the car...

A really crappy pic, but this is what the 3.0 exhaust (particularly mine) looks like.

 

do you drive a 2.2? why do you want a 3.0 muffler?

 

The same reason why the Accord V6 people want the Cl-S exhaust. It's a factory replacement that gives a little performance boost.

 

yeah im gonna run 2'' piping with it and besides, it just looks better.

 

I like it. No pea shooters on the 3.0.

That is the reason I got my magnaflow, because I get the performance boost and get a muffler that look's almost like stock.
