Wrecked my CL!!!

Wrecked my CL!!!
Took a turn at about 30. It was the first time it had rained in a while so it was very slippery. My 2.3CL slid and the front right tire hit a steep curve and bent the wheel or strut ro something. There was a telephone pole there too and i just barely hit that denting my fender and cracking the bumper slightly. The car was not drivable because the front right tire was pushed back and hitting the wheel well somewhere. I hope the CV joint isnt broken. The guy at the shop said that on newer cars they tend to make the parts give on impact for cushion. Oh yeh, and the rotor cracked in half and the caliper was bent out of shape. Usually how much is it to replace a CV joint?? Ahhh!!!! I miss my car. I will be driving a piss yellow 1984 benz for about 2-3 weeks!!!

no the air bags didnt pop out. it didnt really even feel like i hit ne thing. just like i ran up the curb and back down. then i stopped and the wheel was bent like crazy.

no, not a new car. i think maybe i made it sound worse than it was. i am not going through a dealer. i am getting it done at a local shop and the guy said that he would try to find some good used parts so i dont end up paying an arm and leg.

Today was the first day that they checked out my car (they dont work weekends). The guy said that the "k-frame" was bent. Never heard of it but doesnt sound good. Definitley fixable though, thats good. All the pieces that are atached to that shapped. From what I saw the CL does not look or perform well made. This was a minor crash that did major damage. Does anyone agree with me about CLs being not well made?? Sorry if I afend some people, I am just annoyed with the outcome of this!

camber, strut, CV joint, k-frame, wheel, rotor and caliper. all that shit replaced...then to the body shop for new bumper and fender. ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! this sucks!!!!!!!!! 2 weeks already without my CL. I miss it so much!!! I have stock tires with a pretty good amount of tread. It was just that it was the first time it had rained in a while and very slippery. I guess i can look at a bright side...No more rock dings in my bumper.

i havent had mine for a month and a half, and i still dont have it. it should be back in about 2 weeks or so.. wow, thats 2 months of down time.. shit sucks.. oh well, at least when i get it back, ill have an h22 S motor sitting inside my CL's engine bay.
