Wraparound clear bumper lens

Maybe this is a stupid question... I'm looking to clear my bumpers, and I noticed today that the lenses wrap around the bumper a little, but look nothing like the clear lenses you see in photos such as from autodynamic.com.

Here's the link of a commonly used pic: http://secure15.dellhost.com/~d30022...p/ACL9500B.jpg

This looks flat to me...what gives?? Is it just the picture? Where do you all get your clear lenses from that are wraparound? How long did it take you to figure out I'm a newbie?

Thanks,
Chris

Check out Ebay. Just do a seach on Acura CL and you will find several people selling the clear bumper lens. That would be the cheapest place to buy them.

Hmmm... Maybe it's just the way autodynamic has the picture. I'm in Canada so I'm trying to find them here first before ordering from the US (exchange is pretty bad right now). Thanks for the replies!

It's just the picture. I dont know why they look like that, but they wrap around. I just got mine in today and they fit perfectly! Just make sure that you tell them the right make, model, and year of your car. I got mine from [URL=http://www.procarparts.com] but you can get them real cheap from ebay!

So, like what are the benefits of having clear corners? Maybe cause I'm a dumb girl, but, um... I like the Amber lenses on my car. I'd like to hear about some of the benefits of having a car w/ clears (aside from the obvious change in visual appearance).

One benefit is that your car no longer looks like a stock car. Another benefit is that you can put super white bulbs in them and they give you more light or you can put a different color bulb in if you like. Another benefit is that people tend to notice your car more often than if you had the amber lights. Those are just a few reasons why I got mine. Besides I just like how my CL looks with them on. Well IMO I think they look nice clear.

MAUI... one benefit is the obvious cosmetics... second reason is a brighter blinker... especially with ultra white xenon bulbs!!!! people see you better!!!

It's just a cosmetic change to the car, but I personally love the way it looks compared to the stock amber ones, especially on darker color CL's. The rear lights are single color (no amber) and we all love them. In fact, we criticize anyone that even wants to think about changing them! Well, I think it’s the same for the front. The clear corners just match the car better and keep the theme going.
