If you could arrange a trade without paying more then a 1g in cash would you go for it and get rid of the CL for the lude?

 

touch choice there. Lude is fun and fast, while the Cl is comfortable.

 

CL actually isnt that great on my back.

 

the lude would be a nice fun car. what did you pay for your cl and what is it worth now? how much do they want for the lude? are the mods on the lude pro or shitty names? does it have any warranty/.....compare how many miles each has too!

 

man the seats in the CL arent that comfortable for me cuz i had a back injury a couple years ago and the seats dont hug my back like it should. I have to keep moving around in my seat to find a cmfortable spot.

 

my car has 30K (LOW!)
lude has 47K (bought right mileage wise)

mods are a aem cai, dont know whos e/h but its all looks very clean and nicely done.

the mods worry me in a sense that i dont know how hard the car has been driven and no there is no warranty. I would more then likely have to buy an extended warranty just to cover my butt with the ATTS suspension.

So all that and the fact that my insurance will go up...looks like i am going to stick with the CL in the end. I had spoken to the sales manager and felt pretty confident i could have gotten close to the deal i wanted (helps when youve sold cars before.) But stupid shit like ext warranty and insurance always gets in the way.

Also looking back, I probalby overpaid for my car, couldnt have known at that time because who knew th eCL would be disconintued and value would FALL. But of couse i didnt buy the car because of its holding value, I got it cause i like it.

Oh well, sucks. I will always and forever LOVE the prelude and this wouldnt have been an issue if that fucker hadnt creamed mine last sept

yeah, i would never buy a car with performance mods. Probably driven by a punk ass kid like me that drove the hell outta it.

 

I would NEVER trade my CL for a Prelude!

 

Smart Choice my man. Stick with the CL, it'll make more sense in the long run. Besides, the performanc mods should have been a sign to stay clear of that car. Anyone who puts I/H/E on their car is driving it like a bat outta hell!

 

All I ahve to say is that I doubt very seriously that you will get such a great price on the prelude. The prelude is worth much more than the CL, they can sell that thing for at least 17k or more.

If you can pull it off, it sounds like a good deal though.
