worth getting nice headers?
worth getting nice headers?
well I've done a search and havent really gotten the answer to this.....so I was wondering if you guys think its good getting DC Sport or Greddy or just get something like OBX or Bomx....I want gain but if the nice one's dont give to much of a gain, I'd want something that sounds good.....any input would be great
The cheap ones mostly are simply replicas of those expensive brands... the only difference may be the metal quality... The more expensive ones may look good for a little longer than the cheapo ones and due to the quality the expensive ones may have 1 to 2hp extra... thatz bout it..
Yo dude, buy mine. I've been too lazy to advertize. $90 + whatever shipping, brand new, never got to use em.

Whats the fastest 2.2/2.3, even on nitrous... 14s?
(Not counting turbo, cause thats a whole different story)
(And hybrids don't count either...Since we're just talking about the f22a setup)
Most cars do that stock nowadays.

I have seen dyno charts on a board, might have been this one, of headers before and after. They actually lost A LOT of low end torque/power on a 4 cyl engine, and didn't gain until high in the powerband. Basically, there was a loss throughout until the almost shift limit/red line. I remember them being bad quality though, can't remember what name.....
Probably... not worth it if you HAVE the extra cash for swaps or turbo... However... for couple hunder bucks... and if you're just working with what you have then the gains I belive are well worth the money!!
Again... your talking about spending couple Gs vs. couple hundreds....

all of the headers for the f22b series and f23 series are interchangeable.

Will that a fit a 98 3.0CL? I'm assuming no, but was curious. Thanks...

wrong, worng, wrong. f23 has higher compression, however, the exhaust ports look exactly the same.
