im in your same boat wilp

i just got my car out of the shop on friday and i was side swipped but mine was the front end, my damages were 6969.76 thats the most ive had for a car in a accident, cause the car is only valued at 9,800 im surprised i was able to keep mine

and it drives better now than it did before the accident too

i got a brand new front suspension, control arm, bushings, shock, brake caliper, brakes, upper control arm, and then you have to do it to the other side as well and then a new headlight, new fender, new door panel, paint the bumper, and paint the whole right side

sorry to hear about your fender bender, did she appoligze for it, wsa it your fault or what happened? you at fault? my guy tried to say it was fault when it clearly was his

yea it was her fault. we were on a four lane road (two goin one way and two goin the other way) i was in the left lane and she just changed lanes right in to me. i felt kind of bad cause when i got out her husband threw her back in the car like i was goin to kill her.(im a pretty big guy), anyways, when she found out i had my two kids in the car she started bauling and i turned soft and told her that they were ok, and that the cars can be fixed yada yada. she got the ticket. so.... i called my insurance and thier getting with her canadian insurance. i just hope international thing doesent come in to play. vxcl that makes my car look brand new. has anyone ever seen a car get a good repair to the rear like that? all the ones ive seen are wavy, or the paint doesent quite match up. i just want her back to new and fast.

prob depends if its an insurance job or not. i doubt most shops would replace the fender so they can make more $$$. but if it was comming out of ur pocket im sure u could pay extra to do it that way.

hey guys i had a fender bender like 2 weeks ago, people in the south do not know how to drive in the rain.(most of them) they get all freeked out and have to do like 10 mph so i had to slow down so i did not hit some one , but my luck as i slowed , the guy behind me did not. so my rear bumper needs to be replaced. i wonder how much will it cost to have the whole car painted? any one know how much for black paint?

Yeah it was my fault! I took a turn to quick and scraped the rear fender. I'm surprised you didn't notice it last time. Anyway it's been like that for about a year now. Oh, and no collision insurance either. It's coming out of my own pocket! Do you know of any good body shops around here that do good work for cheap?

i went to ACURA today and got an estimate. its goin to be 2300$ to get fixed they are going to cut off the whole quarterpanel and replace it. i was just wondering if it would be more benificial to me if i took it to a custom body shop, other than the dealership? sure would be nice to grip some rims or maybee an entire paintjob. any info would be appreciated

what you need to do is get a bid from acura to give to the ins co and it will be a fatter check . then just go to a place like 1983"s dads place . then that will give you some xtra $$$ for a wwlip or maby enough for a set of 18's

why you gotta pay your insurance 500?....it wasnt your fault, you shouldnt have to pay...even if she does give you the money, therez no reason why you gotta give your insurance some...(is there?)
