"Worst Acura ever made" is all i heard while i was looking through some of the pictures of my car, subuzz's, supraman's, and H22 euro R's cars on my cell phone while i was at school today. the kid that said this must have been leaning over my shoulder while we were chilling out in my phycology class doing a group project. so at first im thinking the kid is just fucking with me, so i said ooo do you have one, and hes like "no" so i said what did u get in a bad accident with one or something and he said "no" again. so i says then whats the problem with it then. and he said idk "i just hate the car with a passion, its the ugliest car honda ever made" "it was a total failure". and i says wow i respect your honesty, but i dont think you know what your talking about, are you a honda fanatic" and he said yes. so i says let me guess you drive a civic. and hes like yea a "stock" 95 civic ex coupe. so i go and you say my car has no styling, granted performance wise you have more potential, but looks wise i got it all over you . and he says absolutely not. so i just say dude you have no taste, im not even gonna bother arguing with you about this anymore. lol

ive been so used to ppl saying to me "o man your car is so clean" and "damn what kind of Acura is that, ive never seen one of these modified". not the ugliest honda ever made. o well everyone has there own opinion but i never thought i would get it with such brutal honesty. o well i guess theres always that random fool out there.

eh, everyone has their own opinion, although ive never heard of anyone saying anything negative about the CL. my roommate saw me passing by him at a bus stop on campus and flagged me down, and once he got into the car he said "Man, you should just name this car dailan, cuz its the HOT FIRE whip!" (thats an excerpt from the dave chappelle show for anyone who doesnt know what im talkin about). He then goes on to say "This car is fucking rolling sex, if i was a chick my panties would have melted off by now" LOL! Thats the usual reaction, but theres always the haters out there that will have to put their negative thoughts in.

 

Wish I could jump on the hate on some civic owners wagon. But I currently own a civic owned a few actually & I'm in love with my EH.

It's true that theres nothing luxury bout that car - but I can't say that the cl handles like a go cart like my civic does though.

Find a better job, start building power stop with the dam negativity about the car. Roasting cars with double the power is very easy..........ITS ALL power to weight. Get more power to compinsate for weight, loose weight..dont need much more power. with say.....150 hp and a prepped cl.........mid 14s 190-240 prepped cl mid to low 13s street tires.

Did you pick yours out yourself or was it your Mothers?" Nothing frosts a guy more than calling his car cute with the exception of tieing it to the posession of a female relative. I'm a female relative of an older vintage and can make any man jump by telling him his car is really cute. Freaks them out every time.

a civic and a cl can't be put in the same class.everybody has a stock civic or modded civic and yes with the right work they can be fun but a cl is one of a kind modded or stock.the civic is a fun project car,even though i prefer teggie's (2 )

This is interesting... I was told at work today that my car looks better now that its droped becuase it looked like a girls car when it was stock.

 

I love the cl styling and Ive had several compliments on it. Some people think its a newer car, one person said they thought it was an 01 or something.

Nobody has ever told me my car is ugly, even when i was in a lil fender bender, it still looked good. I work with a bunch of guys with civics and they all say my car is clean as hell. If i were u, and he called my car ugly, i would've told him to kill himself.

wow, everyone has an opinion...but i just think thats wild. i love the 1st gen cl so damn much. my sister used to own a black 2.2, it was very clean, and i currently own a 2nd gen, and ive been looking for a cheap priced 1st gen. its a car i would LOVE to own and mod (SLAM!)

 

Thats' one thing that really drew me to the CL for modding, is that everything had to be done custom which is right up my alley. Granted, it's a PITA to do custom work, but so much more worth it
