Wood Shift Know

Ok i have a 5 speed and would really like the wooden shifter from the TL with the acura logo on the top to match my wood trim kit. The only problem is I'm almost positive it is way to tall and wont fit. Would it fit? Are there any simple wood knobs like that that i could use on my 5 spd?
If not, does anyone have pics of the Acura leather shifter on their car? thanks a lot

You have to buy a new shift boot with a round top to it. You could use the old one but it would be wack!

Look on JCWhitney.com for some inexpensive ones.

Acurate has a momo wood shift nob that is pretty nice. The sides are colored to match the car.

Hmm acurate if you have pics please post but i really want and all wood one. Maybe like a ball one. Someone that put on an RSX shift knob said he just had to turn the factory boot inside out and remove the square plastic piece at the top of the boot and than it was fine. Just need to find someway to hold it up which cant be too hard

I cant believe i screwed up the topic line

I have a momo knob with burlwood trim on the top, and black on the sides. It matches the car's trim perfectly, wood and dash. I have pics on my computer at home that I will post next time I'm there. Sorry, off at college now with no digital camera.

As for the boot, heres what I did. Might sound ghetto, but no one notices, and it looks fine.

I tucked and folded the boot flush around the base of the knob, and tied it on the underside with a black tie. You know, those plastic ones that tighten, but don't untighten, like those ones that they use for handcuffs sometimes??? hard to explain, but I worked with it for a while when I realized that the stock boot would not fit, and it looks great. The knob is overpriced as hell though. But i would definatly reccomend it, looks better than an al wood one.
