Wiper motor?
Wiper motor?
My passenger side wiper stopped working recently on my 99 CL 3.0. I believe the motor burnt out, but I could be mistaken. When I turn on the wipers the passenger side will not budge until the drivers side wiper comes down. Then it moves downward slightly but never upward.
If I need a new motor how much should I expect to pay to have it installed?
Would it be any cheaper to get it istalled by a Honda dealer than an Acura dealer?
Is this a complicated procedure or could it be self installed with minor technical knowledge?
Thanks.

Check out this diagram:
It looks like there is only one motor (part #1) for both wipers, and some kind of connecting rod (#10) that hooks them both up to that one motor. Maybe that rod came loose or broke or something. Either way sounds cheaper than the motor

check the gear underneath the wiper arm itself. it has little teeth on it. if u had a frozen wiper and tried to move it it will strip out the teeth, which are replaceable. and being in jersey im sure u had a frozen wiper. u can get a new one from acura for like 5$
