window trimming removal
Does anyone know how to remove the chrome trimming around the windows? I would like to paint this a different color. I could probably paint it while it's still on the car, but I will be in much less danger if I can easily get it off. I did a search and found nothing. thanks for your help.

of course it comes off .... EVERYTHING COMES OFF!
its just tough. i know for my lexus i had to replace the trim and i had to take out interior paneling, rubber trim, then unscrew the chrome trim to get it off ... just carfully look at it and take things off .. you'll figure it out. just dont pull on anything too hard and break it. that shit aint cheap!

not true
it does come off
it is real metal, polished, it has tabs that are bent inwards and you can unbend them but you woill never get it to fit the same again, i had that problem with mine when mine came loose after taking off my door to fix my regulator too much

Does anyone know how exactly I go about painting it? Is it as easy as the plastic chrome pieces on the car? Painting is not exactly my strongpoint. Can I just sand, prime, paint or is it different because it's "real metal"?
