I'm new to this site and I searched this forum about my problem with my drivers side window regulator. Seems like its a common problem everyone has. I bought my 98 2.3 used about 6 months ago, and yesterday my drivers side window wouldn't go back up after I rolled it down (makes a "clicking" noise for about 1 second, then the sound stops and nothing happens). I found some threads about removing the door panel and manually getting it back up and propping the window up.

Anyway, I wanted to know from anyone in the area if there are any good shops (that aren't a rip off) or if there are any members out there willing to help me out? I know little about DIY car projects, so I don't want to mess up my car any more. I don't really have any tools on me either (yes, I'm a newb ). I really don't want to take my car into Acura and have them rip me off to replace the regulator. Any advice would be awesome! Thanks everyone!

I think I'm actually gonna try and do it myself soon. If I am successful I'll be in the San diego area in like month if you still needed help then haha

i just dynamatted my doors, man I'm gonna hate it if my regulator craps out

I hope you did the door panels, that's what I did and they come right off
