Window lube?

I've heard that the dealer "lubes" the power windows to make them smooth. Where do they spray? I can't imagine them taking anything apart. Can anyone let me know where I can do some regular maint. by lubing my power windows? ( and maybe keeping from over working the motor?)

Thanks
K

Yeah, if anyone out there knows what or where to get this 'lube' for the power windows please let us know. My window was replaced last summer from a break in and since I've had the new one it hasn't been the same.

To make your windows go up/down faster get some silicone spray at the auto store and blast it into the seal around the window.

Don't mean to dig up old bones, but spray it where?
into the door part while the window is still up?
or while its down? yea- i'm slow.

when the window is all the way down, spray in the space between the two rubber seals into which the window dissapears. Only problem is when you put it back up, some of the spray will be on the glass and will look real nasty, so you will need to clean it with windex.

No. I have tints and they're fine, it looks like oil or grease on your windows, no reason it would ruin tint. How much to spray? Just cover the length of the window I guess, maybe I spray too much and that is why some gets on the window, try it out.
