hey guys I am thinking about getting these rims but I dont know much about what size rims and tires we can use with our cars. I want to get them in 17s the site I was looking at had them in "17x7.0 4-100/114.3 40silver" or "17x7.0 5-100/114.3 40silver"

with either of these fit the first gen?

 

I have 17 x 7 and they are big enough to make a difference. Bolt pattern is 4 x 114.3 (4.5) and tires you can use 205/40R17 or 215/40R17. 225/40R17 are really wide and I tested them and they fit but I don't recommend it, just in case. Hope this help

 

I would go with 205/40/17 tires on a 17x7 rims. If you get 17x7.5 rims then you could go with wider tires.
