It'll fit.
You should be more worried about the sellers positive feedback %...even though it's not that bad but he's received several negative feedback. Read back and make sure they weren't for intakes. Hopefully you don't encounter problems with this seller.

but.. there's possibility that you won't get the item...

me too. Although you have to look at the more recent ratings, but it's still better to go 98 or above where you can.

 

that intake will fit.. installation is simple.. all u need to do is remove the stock intake box.. there should be two or three bolts holding it down.. (one below.. and two on top i believe)

then u remove the pipe from the throttle body (you're gonna need a screwdriver) and just take the whole assembly out.. then turn your wheel so that u could reach under and open the fender wall...

pretty simple.. just start pulling things out! remember! dont be scared! or you'll never succeed on installing anything

It will be an easy install, you may think about getting at least a new filter. Please note that the type of aluminum pipe you are getting resonates a lot, and will hum. I have the same type of piping on my short-ram and it hums really loud. I'm told a K&N will fix this, I did one step better and bought an AEM steel pipe with K&N filter. But regardless, don't be surprised if it hums a lot.

 

Be careful, right now I'm having problems with a seller who 2 1/2 weeks ago I purchased an intake from and keeps telling me that the shipment of filters hasn't arrived. Until this
past Friday when he told me that as compensation for my time he will be giving me a K & N air filter instead...which made me feel a little better but we'll see if it arrives this week as he said. If not and i'm reporting that punk as chicken head to ebay, paypal, and I will leave him a FILTHY negative feedback.

BTW - I payed $42.00 for the intake with some regular air filter...but I will see if the filter that arrives is the K & N air filter. I'm getting heated...little by little until ....the end of the world.

 

That sux div, I've been waiting about a 2 weeks for my replacement CAI to come too. What kinda intake did u get for $42?

 

The price says it all.
It's a regular SRI with a K & N air filter. I was going to go
with the V2 but Wilp99 convinced me that it wasn't worth it.

The seller just emailed me, because I've been harrasing him, and he said
that the intake is waiting to be picked up by UPS. I'm expecting for it to
arrive by Friday or he's dead .
I'll post pics once I receive/install it.

What CAI did you go with?
Do you have a 2.x or 3.0?

 

I have a 3.0. I have a kosmo(site vendor/sponsor) short ram on there now, but HATE the humming. Got an AEM CAI, with K&N filter. I think it's a good step up

 

hey guys, thanks for the tips and warnings on ebay. I have to be careful because i've already gotten ripped off 190 bux for a WW lip that never came through and I never got my money back either. But also, about the humming, I also am going to buy a K&N 3" filter for it instead, cuz I know the one that comes with it isn't that great. And I'm also glad that the intake will be installed without removing my bumper.

Oh and by the way, the seller emailed me and told me that it was shipped
yesterday and provided me with a tracking number, so I should be receiving it
sometime this week.
Then it's WOT against TT 350Z's, Z06's, and Viper's.

And I'm just warning you div, your car is probly gonna hum, it's annoying at idle! Sounds great when rev'd but while idling, it annoys the hell out of me.
