Will the accord J30 fit in our bay with little/no modification?

I have a tranny/motor from an accord.. and well tonight, breakdown..

Starts raining, so I head out from my boys house, drops the female off and take my other boy home, im in my alley and everything is FLOODED and a camaro infront of me gunned it through the water... so I said fuck it.

Floored the car throgh the water, half way through, my REAR bumper decides to fall off from the water pushing it back, my car stops, and my engine floods.. Im guessing im competelly fucked, and need a new one, but will have to wait and see till morning..

our engine is a J30 anyways

and i would have never done that, how high was the water?

thats was a big mistake and you can feel it in your wallet now, check ebay for a engine or you can call and honda recycling plant out here 1800 999 -9499

good luck

you will need to replace the engine if water did get into there, sounds like it seized up, and the one reason it did was from the CAI that thing sucked up water like you would not believe

It did suck up water, I do have a fully working engine/transmission sitting at my garage.. just neeeds to be put in.. and the mounts are differnet I think(accord J30..)

However, yeh my engine is probablly fucked, I mean, the camaro infrotn of my made it through... I figured my shits higher then his, it'll probablly make it through

the difference was that he was probably stock, while you've got a CAI that's gonna act like a straw to that puddle. I wouldn't have done that shit regardless of who I saw go through that water.

hell yea use the insurance company... i had a friend who has a 02' stang and he sucked up water. and totally fawked the engine.. he called his insurance company and paid his comprehension deductable, and ford put a brand new motor in his stang with a nother 36k mile warranty.

and i also seen a vet go thru a puddle and suck up water and all he did was drain the oilpan (got 9 total qts 4 water and 5 oil.) and pull the plugs and turned it over for a couple of minutes and it was fine.

i think as long as u pull the plugs and drain the oil before u try to start it up again it will be ok. if u try and start it water will bend everyghing inside.

and the engine will work as long as u use ur distributor and ur transmission. the accord has a different tranny..
