Will Accord Header fit on 2.3?

I know there's a ton of Accord 2.2 Vtec parts work on the CL's, but will the header from an Accord 2.2 Vtec work on the 2.3 CL?

Thanks!

I did read it. I don't know if you read it, but I didn't see anything about the header. Did you??

All I seen was this...

"Exhaust
Cat Back exhaust systems are from a 94-97 Accord 2 Door.
Axel backs are also an option, 94-97 Accord.
Another option is to buy a separate muffler and have a shop do all new piping for you. Id reccomend a resonator (18" or 22") to help cut back on that "ricey" tone"

Here's your back. lol

Even I knew this...

From the NOOB FAQ:

"Misc Engine Parts.
All 2.2/2.3 engine parts come from a 94-97 Accord (F22) or a 98-2002 Accord (F23)."

Now if you were to realize the 4-cyl engine from the 94-97 Accord was a 2.2L, then the 2.2CL should be one and the same.

Then of course you should have realized the 4-cyl from the 98-02 Accord should be the same as the 2.3CL.

There is plenty of info in the CL forums, but also throughout the internet.

I guess a noob is a noob is a noob....

ACTUALLY.... I believe that most of them will require a slight amount of modification for them to fit. The exhaust manifold DOES fit and lines up, but the downpipe requires a slight bend (to my knowledge) for them to fit perfectly.

arghhhhh ur post has too many numbers... my mind went numb after reading this post... especially after a math test today...

As for the headers, you need to have the down pipe bent or cut & re-welded like i did to fit. My car is a 3.0 but it has the same problem: the exhaust piping of the 98-02 accords are a bit different than our car so we need to modify the downpipe...
