Will 215 tires fit on our stock rims?

Will 215 tires fit on our stock rims?

will 215 tires fit on the stock 16's i have on my 97?? i'm only asking cuz i want to make sure that they won't rub against the control arm or anything becuz of it's increased width? let me know if anyone has done it or has info on it.

The stock rims are only 6" wide, so 205 is already pushing it, IMO. That's why the sidewalls have to taper inwards.

Yeah from what i have heard the stock tires are pushing it as far as width goes.

I have 215/50R16 on my car with the stock rims, and they are PERFECT. No rubbing, or anything of the sort. Get them, you won't regret it.

There is plenty of space in the wheelwell for larger tires, but the existing wheel/tire package is suboptimal as it is because the tires are so much wider than the wheels (except for when it comes to bashing curbs!).

actaully I have 225s on my stocks... lol check pics with stock whels, it gives a lil bit of a bludge, which i think also looks agressive as hell! never a problem, never a roll!

Our cars will allow 215/55/16 and if you go to 225's, you will have to go with a 50 or lower aspect ratio.

yeap.. my tires obn stock rims are Dunlop sp8000 225/50 r 16
