Why isn't my radio working?
I just installed a new head unit, however the CD player works, but not the radio. Every wire from the wiring harness is hooked up to a wire on the head unit harness. The only exception being that the orange dimmer wire from the head unit isn't hooked up to anything on the wiring harness.
The CD player works fine, and the radio wire is plugged in. Anyone know why my radio won't work?
Thanks
- Jae

By the way,
My fuses all seem to be fine, the clock works, the turn signal works...
I tried to replace the radio fuse with a spare fuse, and it still dosen't work.
I don't know what's going on?

that will work but its better to ground it directly to the car. you might get alittle engine noise thru the speakers.

What are you talking about?
I did purchase an aftermarket head unit (Pioneer DEH-2700).
I am saying i wired everything correctly, however only the CD player works, and the radio dosen't work.
So i am looking to see if other people have any suggestions.
I searched and found that the most common problem was the fuses, but my fuses are fine.

Yes, there is static, like it wants to work.
I have to turn up the volume more than normal to hear the static.
How would i locate the antenna in the back window? Once i locate it, how would i remedy the situation?

Are they toward the top of the window? I see like a small little "box" thing there.
I don't see why this would be disconncted, as the stock radio was working fine previous to me installing the new deck.
Also, i went to circuit city and tried another one of the same head unit, and same problem, so i know the head unit is fine.
