Whoa!! Great news!

Imagine the possibilities....

Most of you guys know i manage a car wash. Well today, one of my vendors came in and asked if he knew anybody that needed a sponsor, because their company is looking to get into the 'car show' aspect and showcase their products. Well, of course i know somebody. ME!!! I took him out, showed him the car, and he liked what he saw. He's gonna go talk to the higher ups and recommend me for sponsorship, and he said they'd like that fact that im' a manager at a place they already deal with. Sweet! He asked me what i needed done, and the list goes like this-

1- Fully built H22 swap. 5spd tranny swap, and of course...boost, FMIC, all the good stuff.

2. Re-do interior- All new leather, maybe some racing seats, all new carpets, some blue suede inserts.

3. Custom Fiberglass trunk

I ll keep you guys posted and let you know how it turns out!!

I'm sure i will. I'm not getting rid of the air, so i guess i ll have to use it. I mean, im' not gonna take it to the drag strip or go illegal street racing at night, but it ll be nice to know its there.

In all honesty, i really dont like black housings or projectors. I like the way it is stock, becuz it matches with my clears and the trim really well. Plus, there is no black on the car, so i think it'd kinda look out of place.

Thats what you say now, but if u pulled up next to you i bet you'd run to the nearest ATM to buy em off me. Especially at night. The black housing is pretty much a necessity to stop glare from the xenons.

Anyways good luck! You are making it impossible for me to keep up with you.

See i mean, i dunno, i just dont think they'd look right on my car. I like the 'cleared out' look. Luckily, its factory. Also, i've never personally been a fan of projectors. Dont get me wrong, i think it looks tight as hell on yours and others cars, but i dont think it'd look good on mine. I like how the headlight has the chrome inside of it, and it matches the clear corners on the bottom. I think black would kinda throw that off.

I just think that it looks better like that with the chrome inside that matches the trim.

My headlamps are completely chrome inside. I wished you lived near me becuase I would swap my headlamps onto your car and put ambers in your bumper just to show you your car would look even sleaker. IF any of your pics are simialr to mine I will def PS it. Its just one of those things you dont realize until you do it. When I had clear bumper lenses I never imagined putting ambers back in.

see

I feel this looks 1000x classier, cleaner, and sexier then my oem lamps and clears. Clears just cheapen the look of the cl. I may just be tainted by my hatred for all aftermarket clear headlamps and gaytezzas.

I think on the blue the ambers will look funny. On black and gunmetal cars, its the only way to go.

then interior and the trunk, how much money is this company looking to invest to get seen in the import scene?

what do they sell?a nd whats the company name?

Why not? The air ride isn't going to hurt him. If he drags at a strip, or any smooth road, you have the advantage. You can play with the cylinder pressure until you find what gives you the best traction. For example, low in the front, high PSI in the back will reduce the weight transfer and loss of torque off the line.

I was assuming from other comments on here that having air ride is not the best when racing... so I guess that does not include dragging because that is just going straight.

I think the 97 grill will look good on ur car katana... urs too VXCL.

I would not be caught dead in my cl if it still looked like that.

what do you think?

I think the 97 grill with no blue acura symbol and no blue bulbs and no blue fogs and no gutter guard grills.. would look good.

the 97 grill on your car now would look nice... if you wanted a black chrome finish and do the trim on the windows too... that would look nice.

as for katana's would add a little more silver to the front of the car and match the window trim and his "factory cleared" lol me too headlight housing and the clear corners. This is in fact why I am trying to trade my 99 for a 97.

but then again it is just my opinion.

EDIT: oh and you lost the front license plate that is good too... I can't stand mine on there but I guess it is a necessity in california... is putting the license plate in the front window legal?

true but any grill on my car without all that crap would look better now. ahahaha. I had an all black 97 grill also before i put the 99 in. the reason i went with the 98+ is because to me the wing in the 97 disrupts the body lines and the 98+ has a bigger A. If i still had a 97 I would hook you up. sorry man.

I actually got rid of my 97 grille. I like the 98's more. As for the sponsorship, i dont think they're gonna do ALL of that, maybe just one. But i am trying to pick up more sponsors along the way. I gotta get other people to start paying for my shit!
