i have mine standing up on the passenger side floor kinda wedged between the floor and the glove box. and it is real easy to hook up if you got the right stuff.

the ps2 won't fit in the glove box w/out cutting out the back and my ps2 wouldn't play at that angle n e ways so i scratched that idea.

I mounted mine in the trunk, right next to the pass-through/armrest thing. When I'm playing it, I just pull down the armrest and open the little door. That way, when I hit the eject button, the drawer slides open right in front of the pass-through. Works pretty well.

its pretty easy to relocate the drive and they sell extentions for the controller and you could mount it under you hu note: main problem will be the ps2's wire that they use fr the power because its like foil sandwiched between two peaces of plastic and can break really easy. if any mods ps2 you should know. xbox is alot easier and has a hard drive to upload songs (no cd to carry)

A power converter is the adapter you plug the PS2 in. You sould hotwire it into the cigarette lighter or some place else. I think all it requires is a positive and a ground.

Yea, but if you hotwire it, then you cant use the ps2 at home right? cause you would have to cut off the plug

No. You hot wire the the thing (converter) that the prongs of the PS2 goes in to. You don't touch the plug for the PS2.

I will have pics on Wednesday. A popular place to put the converter is in the ash tray behind the center console. You have to put a custom plate there so the plug from the PS2 can be plugged in. A lot of people put it there because they like to put whatever system they're using under the driver or passenger seat so when they're stopped at a light they can change the disc.

I have my ps2 under the drivers seat it fits perfect and I put a power inverter where the rear ashtray use to be in the center counsel. It is a perfect place for it. It is very easy to change the discs from the drivers seat when it is right under you also easy to turn it on and off just reach down behind the seat. This was the best place I could find.

I also ran my controller wires up into my center councel so I had them stored in there. If you have your seat all the way back it will hold the ps2 in place nicely and you dont have to mount it.
