it's been done, a few month ago i had convinced some guy who had been emailing me about 2.2 mods to drop it in.....last i had heard he had already got the motor and tranny, and a JRSC was on the way. I was so damn jealous....made me wish i had a old 2.2

I was seriously considering this modification and had the engine ready at my disposal. However I only had enough money for the engine and some new headers. And with that... the car would only run at best 14.8 or so. That's just not fast enough. I was looking into some camshafts for the H22a motor, but there really isn't much support for that engine, only the B series motors. I know Toda makes the best cams for the B series motors, but none for the H. Gude makes cams for it....but we all know Gude stuff ain't that good. But if you do go for an H22a, get the J-spec one that has the limited slip. If you can't go fast... corner like a mad man!
