Where to get a painted bumper?

Alright. You all know my struggles with my back bumper and how it needs paint badly. I've decided before I do anything else costly with the car, I want to fix this bumper because it has been an eye soar for over a year and I'm sick of it. I want to try and get a used Inza Red back bumper, any ideas where I could go? Otherwise, I'm just going to get my painted at a shop but I figured I'd might save money doing it this way.

I only have $250 to spend on this, and I don't want to resort to maaco but for a temporary fix for a little bit until I get a full paint job, I might have to. So any ideas guys? Any good places to go in the CT/MA area that can do it for that price? Let me know plz, thx

go to paintscratch.com and enter your vehicle info and color code and they supply you with a paint kit...runs around 50$ for a spray can with liquid rubbing compound, clearcoat, and some other things
thats what im doing for the corner of my front bumper
it might match perfect so then you wont even need to get it repainted

I think maybe this would be my best option since I plan to get some new body panels and get the whole car resprayed in a year or so..

haha, yes blackack, I do lol, but thats almost $350 and I only have 250 so I'm thinking of going to this paintscratch place, its $100 for a full kit -base coat, clear coat, rubbing compound, flexible bumper repair kit, acrylic lacquer thinner, wax and grease remover, adhesion promoter, and rubberized primer. Is the paint of good quality? Anyone know?

I ordered one of these and have had it for a little over a week waiting to put it on. I feel it is worth the money to have someone do it professionally.

Just some advice.. click the Make offer button and give them an offer that you would want to afford. I think I got it for $40 cheaper than what they ask for "Buy It Now". I should of started lower to see how low they would go, but I was stupid and they accepted my offer right away

You didn't say how much paint but it won't be too good for $100.. the cheap DuPont stuff is $118 a gallon just for the clear. I'm going to go with Dupont if they will try to match the car, I figure if it's worth painting it's worth doing it right. I used a cheapo clear last time and there's a million rock chips on the rear bumper cover. The repair kit I can get locally

I'm not getting a gallon of clear, I'm getting a kit to do the corner of my back bumper, so I don't need much paint, this si the price for everything needed for a 6 sq. ft. section of my car

Horny- How does it match the color of your existing paint? What color paint is your car? Im worried that a brand new paint job on one piece, like a bumper, will stand out from the 10-year-old faded paint thats on the rest of the car. What do you think? I guess I could offer $170 plus shipping and see if they are insulted lol

lol I'm all about the DIY but my buddy tried to DIY it and ruined it in the process, which is why I have to do this now, so I'm debating bothering to do it again or just go and get another bumper which I would prefer, if money were there to do it

Well, I put up parts requests on a bunch of those used parts places online that junkyards search through and just got an email from a company that has my bumper and will charge $250 shipped for it which is what I have so I think I might go with that. Im assuming its used to I'm thinking it will be faded to match the rest of my paint.

Well my car is black and I haven't installed it yet.. but I put it up against the car and it looked like it matched well enough You give them your paint code from the drivers door panel and they will paint the bumper that.. I'm going to try and install my bumper this week so I'll take some pictures.

Let me guess it was a silver or primrose color? I'm pretty sure it was the same junkyard I got a response back from. I specified my color and they still sent me an e-mail claiming they had my part.

Maybe you are missing some of the plastic fasteners for that bumper if it looks like it doesn't fit right.. I remember I broke $70 worth of plastic plugs just getting the rear off. I think I spent $140 for the paint materials when I painted mine and at S-W they gave me choice of 4 variations of the factory colour ie. to match the fading. People who don't wax their cars will have lower gloss and more colour shift over the years if you use a wrecker one

Well when I backed into my brothers car, I put a massive dent straight in the corner of the bumper, so I took it off and kicked out the dent and so the bumper is a bit bowed, I don't think it has to do with the clips.

Bump

Someone in a Dodge 3500 reversed into me making a hole in my front bumper with his trailer hitch. Does anyone know where I can get an already painted front bumper cover?

Zero feedback but its worth a shot. Any idea how much it would be to get it painted?

I emailed that guy about the bumper, shipping to northeastern PA is 150 so it doesn't seem worth it if I have to have it painted too. I'm trying to find an already white front bumper..

You can search google for used car parts or junkyard parts. It will bring up a bunch of sites that you can input information in as what you want. You will get a bunch of e-mails and/or calls concerning your information.

I got a lot of calls about rear bumpers, but none of them were black at the time.
