Where is it?

My radio and cig lighter just went out last nite while i was driving home. I searched and found out that the cig lighter fuse is connected to the radio as well, thats why the radio and my cig lighter is dead. The one question I have is, Where do I find the fuse for the cig lighter. Can someone give me some help with this fuse problem? Anyone got a diagram, or for the people that have had this problem, where is that lighter fuse?

take a fuse checker and check them...unless you have a manual and know which ones you need to check

In the 3.0,there is a fuse box on the left side of the engine bay when you are facing the engine. is that the box you are talking about? I dont have a fuse checker, so hopefully, I can find out which fuse it is before i try to replace it. By any chance, do you know what kind of fuse that fuse is? how many (i think) watts or volts? thanx for the reply.

I just had this problem yesterday, blew a fuse by ripping out my cig lighter and radio, I think the cig lighter wires touched. In the fuse box under your hood, you want to find the blue 15 amp fuse. It's in the longest line of fuses I believe third or fourth one down? If you have the fuse box cover or the manual it shows it. I had blown the 15 Amp, and my radio was dead. Check that. There are also the interior ones, there are 4 total radio fuses, but the one that I blew was the one under the hood. Good luck

I fixed it. It was the 15a fuse for the radio/lighter. I had to replace it twice because i think it shorted the first time because i didnt reset the ecu. Second time, i resetted, then put it in. This time, it didnt short, and everything works. Thanks for the replys.

I was listening to my ipod with those crappy earbuds for two days. Those ear buds really stink.

glad I could help. I checked all my fuses internally, then went another 2 days without my radio even being hooked up. Was driving around lookin like I jacked my own shit, no radio or bracket in the center console. Least it was an easy fix, once I dug into the fuse box under the hood
