When you change out the ecu, it should make the guage package work right. If you have the 2.x, the redline will be a little higher on the tach, but the mph should remain acurate. Or at leas relatively close... 1 to 2 mph.

Your gauges will work fine. You just run way into the redline and people sitting shottie are like..

i got the 93 jdm p13... i think it's around 7500... but my speedo is off a few miles... but gradually the gap widens as i go faster... about 5mph over when i'm going like 30... i matched it with one of those speed trackers on the side of the road... those things are awesome. I wanna hit 100 on one of those someday... haha... maybe not.

I get nervous to take my 3.0 past 6000. Only done it once, and that was last year when I discovered my transmission was damaged and needed to be replaced. It went to shift from 3rd to 4th at around 85 mph and slipped then locked up again. jumped 2K in less than 2 seconds. I gotta say, that freaked me out cause my shit growls and sounds fawking freaky at those rpms.

ive had no probs after my swap. try more research. its a 95% direct fit, if you keep the power ster. you have to mod the hose, and i lost crusie control didnt want to spend the extra money to make it work.

Wow those 2x scream... I doubt you are making much power past 7.5K rpms. The V-Tech curves off steeply past 7.5K. All you are doing at that point is risking valve float.
