Wheels stuck even after removing lugnuts. WTF??

Ok so like...I may be slow mentally but I am far from braindead. I tried removing the stock oem chrome rims from my car today...and encountered a problem on my first rim (front drivers side). Even after completely removing the 4 lugnuts and raising the car to where the wheel/tire were completely off the ground...I could not get the wheel to budge off the car one bit. I tried pulling towards me while grabbing the spokes...tried using a rubber mallet to pound the back of the tire towards me....it would not budge. Tried to spray wd40 and brake cleaner on the studs and the center nut area....still wouldn't budge. I have changed wheels on all my hondas before and never ever had this problem. Any ideas? I noticed a weird squigly chrome rod piece in the oem wrench set....but don't know if it has anything to do with this.

Please help : /

Stand directly parallel to your tire and give it one firm kick on either side, It will pop loose.

Kick the crap outta them, they'll come off eventually.

Yeap, kicking is the answer. But please, be smart about it. I don't want the car to fall off the jack stands onto you or anything.

If all else fails, put the lug nuts back on, but don’t tighten them. Pull out into the street (not when busy), turn the steering wheel to the left till it locks then slowly give it gas till the car starts moving. Repeat in the opposite direction if necessary. Hopefully that will do the trick of loosening it.

Smack it and next time when you put it back on put some anti-seize lube on the back of th wheel that comes in contact with the hub, that way it won't stick anymore from the rust

Or like everyone else is saying just start working out from now on
