Wheel painting
1) What color is your car
2) What color are your wheels currently
3) What color do YOU want
4) Please do not spray paint them. (POWDERCOAT! Less than $100 a wheel.)
5) Thank you.

There has to be some kind of special paint especially formulated for the rims to take the beating of the elements and the wear...
I mean I have seen painted rims but when they start chipping/cracking away they look like shit........or else one just keeps touching them up every now and then.........ah well that is a hassle.........
or just take a sander and buff them off well this might also need some ocassional care as the buffing might start to blacken........
any thoughts

I'll be using my stock wheels for winter tires, and will be painting them too. I've painted the steelies on my jeep with a rattlecan and they looked good for almost a year... I really only need it to make it through winter really... it should be good right?
