My check engine light was on so i did Niedejb's paper clip test and got a 65 or Secondary Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit. What does this mean and how much does it cost to fix? Oh that is so cool that i could do that, thanks Niedejb and nice turbo install

Youll have to replace the o2 sensor.

Geez this will be the third O2 sensor i have had. Why do they keep going out on me and thanks for the quick reply. Anyone that hasnt seen his website, check it out Very cool stuff on there.

hey i think the new extended 150000 mile warrenty for the first gens covers it, call a dealer and ask if it will. my primary o2 sensor was covered so maybe the secondary is covered as well.

I think the first one or two was covered but unfortunatly i have blow by the 150000 mile mark

Hey man my check engine light came on too, about 4 days ago. I took it to Acura Carland today and they said it was a secondary O2 sensor as well..........But luckily for me it was covered under Acura Care extended warranty BTW It only took them about an hour and a half to tell me what it was and fix it.

My secondary O2 sensor was just replaced under warranty. I have 70k on my CL.

How long does the extended warranty cover our first gens??

I just got a new tranny, and they said it was under warranty, but I forgot to ask them how long it was covered.

The heated O2 sensor circuit is there to literally heat the O2 sensor .It has to be hot to function properly,when you first start the engine the exhaust is not hot enough to warm the sensor to operating temp so a auxiliary heater is employed .Jens
