What's Next??????

Seriously!

Where to go, next???

I'm not sure what to put on the CL.

I'm much more interested in speed than looks, but $1100 for headers, $3000 to $5000 for custom turbo or supercharger seems outrageous.

I don't know what the fuck to do!!!!!

Is it time for another car?

Any suggestions?

go with the headers if you can... I rode in my friends accord exv6 the other night, he just put headers on along with a greddy cat-back and OMFG that thing has some NUTS!!

They definatly gave his car a HUGE kick in the ass!!

Ignition, fuel pressure regulator, high flow cat, cat-back exhaust, underdrive pulleys, VAFC, level ten upgrade, etc.

Not sure what fits the 3.0 but I know how you feel.

Why do think I ended up with an FMAX.

Dust... go to a junkyard and find a wrecked type-s... run the type-s motor w/ NOS and you can kill'em all!!!! And it would cost you the same as upgrades with more performance outcome!

Not looking to sell the CL.

Just thinking about getting something quicker.

I appreciate everyone's input, and PLEASE, tell me more!

BTW: FMAX on the 3.0 sounds very intriguing! Couple that with a 5-speed, and all of the other mods listed above, and I'll be the fas....... BROKE!

Try finding some carbon fiber or other light weight parts. It won't increase your torque or horsepower but you'll go faster just because you weigh less.

I'd say go with Apexi VAFC, Type S Cam and Throttle Body. Oh yeah, then put on a "Type R" sticker - that alone will add like 15 horsepower.

Go for the Type-S motor, then add headers, even the ones from the Type-S motor are better than our stock ones. Then you shall easily be in the 13's.

New paint job man, get something off the hook. In my Superstreet there was a 1998 Accord with a Kandy Apple Hue and it was bad ass. Also in my mAY (I THINK) Issue of Performance Audio and Sound mag they had this 95-7 Civic SI with this dark green color, the title of the article was dark horse... look into it man!

I think that I'll get the headers and rest of the exhaust (back to the axle) Then, I'm going for ignition, fuel pump, fuel regulator, and UNICHIP or VAFC (can't decide which will be better).

I like my CL too much to get rid of it. And, as far as speed, high 13s is plenty fast enough for me.

The CL is my daily driver, and I spend probably 90% of it's life travelling back and forth to work, and running errands. I have another car that I can build, if the CL begin to bore me. So far, I'm happy playing with the CL!

I figure with headers and/or the UNICHIP, I'll be in the 13s which is just fine with me!

I was just trying to figure out which mods I could do without spending $3000+ a pop!

Hey dust you ever thought about getting a zet servo charger. I agree the unichip would be your best bet but if your looking around try looking at a servo charger. If youve never heard of one its an electronic diaphram that controls the amount of air going into your engine. It basically trys to keep your engine from running lean or rich. It installs into your CAI or Air Box and hooks up to your ECU and depending on your RPMS and other data it either opens or close. The web site below is for it and I think they have a mitsubishi diamante or galant dyno, from what I remember it didnt look to bad.
