So I'm cruising through my car clubs' forum and this guy was talking about sport cars (specifically his MR2) not fitting into VIP styling. Well this guy says this...

i dunno man...if you think about it, the 2 door CL is a "pimp car" right?

but what's the diff. between that and our 2 doors? hmmm

(He's talking about a Integra by the way)

I'm thinking, "What the fuck is this kid talking about. The CL is way better in almost every aspect". The CL has better interior, cleaner lines, more luxurios etc. Besides a lot more heads turn when a CL cruises by than a damn integra, etc. First off I don't like this kid because he's rude as fuck to other people. But he's good friends with the founder of the club so I'm bitting my tounge on this one, unless you guys give me some good back up.

I just want to hear what you guys think and why.

hehe, calm down dennis. who are you talking about? and don't say a name cuz i can't match most of their faces with names. what car does he drive?

 

a CL is an emphasized, more luxurious Integra... Its the same family of vehicle.. just as the TL is a glorified CL... People hate on what they dont have or dont like... I dont know about head turning... I would say a sooped up integra would grab my attention unless the CL was really worked like mines is...


a 4cylinder CL IS THE SAME AS AN INTEGRA!!!! oh wait actually an integra may be better due to weight and power....

I also believe that a stock integra has better lines than a CL... CLs are rather straight... I hate our car stock with no spoiler and no drop... I think its horendous!!!!

I wouldnt stress it!!!

I dont know what that guy is talking about... our cars arent way up in the car chains but its a lothigher up than the integra. CL has so much more luxury are its a lot better looking than ours. Put the hottest integra againt the hottest CL i think most would prefer the CL. Especially that one that was on this board earlier. It was a widebody CL..... wow is that CL the hottest ive ever seen!

I love the shape of the 1gen CL. its just different from all other car, i think if u have a soop up CL and a soop up Integra for looks. The CL will be breaking neck just rolling by =)

 

What are you guys talking about? There is very little that the CL and the teg share in common. The CL is much closer to an Accord than an Integra; it shares most of its parts with the Accord while the integra shares its chassis and engines with the Civic. The Cl is a lot more luxurious than the Integra and is a totally different car built for a much older demographic. The only thing they have in common is the Acura badge.

 

we all know that....but some kid dennis know was comparing the CL and the tegra, dont know why tho. I like the integra, but i just grew out of that compact sport car....now the bigger the better =)

a cl is the acura version of the accord. It is the same car under the hood. When ever i see another cl on the street 9-10 times its bagged with 18's. It looks realy good and all but you can find any part you want for the accord motor. I dont understand why i see so few set up for race. Atleast i know whats up!!!

 

Well I disagree with you with some parts but you did make some good points.

O and ib_jimmy, he was comparing the CL to the teg because he doesn't like the fact that his Integra can't get into the crew but my CL can.

The CL was meant to be on the same level as an accord. But I think the CL came out a lot nicer that the cords. That's just my opinion though.
