You should hit it with a CAI. I ran a 15.8 with a CAI, and now I have headers and getting a custom exhaust, so I should be in the mid 15's, but you should be hitting very high 15's with just a CAI.

Buy one, install it, then bet his ass and take his loot.

I left everything in my car when I ran the 15.8.

I've seen the 2.2CL 5-speed run between 16.0 to 16.5 at the track.

15.8 for my 2.2 :P

i have stuff tho. 15.7's are doable with I/E. less if you're good at launching.

bluesman, is yours a 3.0 or 2.x? Thats pretty slow for a 3.0!

I haven't done the 1/4 still, but i've raced my friends stock 3.0 and he spanked me by like 3 cars to 85. I have 2.3 e/cai/h.

1gencl, what were your 1/8th times??? I've done 10.3 in the 1/8.

You didn't runno 16.5 at the track!!! I was with you and your time was about a 16.8, and the reason that you cant get such good times is because you cant launch your car. I am not trying to be mean, just saying that your times will drop more if you can learn to launch.

The track in Ewa beach runs slower than other tracks eventhough it's at sea level and the air is dense. I don't know why but everyone runs slower. I ran a 16.6 with a 5 spd I/E

i ran 16.1 with CAI on my 2.3 I was pretty pissed coz. i thought i'd break into the 15s by the end of the night. however, i didn't remove my subs, spare, and seats... i think that would've helped a little.

Ok, here is my question (BTW new member here, so please be gentle) but N-E-WAYZ, does running 5,000 feet above sea level going to add seconds onto your car. I am currently running an Injen CAI and 2 Dynomax Turbo Exhaust on my 3.0 CL and when I ran in at Bandimere Speedway in Denver, It clocked a time of 17.7. I heard that driving up here does add 2 seconds to your time. Just seeing if you guys have also heard of this.

2 seconds seem too much. you're talking about a 13 second car running in the 16's. Doesn't sound right to me. .5-.9 sound more like it.
