make a hood scoop out of a CF hood would be some hard work considering once the CF is set it is hard to mod it to make it work for the application that you want
if you wanted a scoop on the hood i would recommend getting the scoop made off the hood and then take it to fiber images and get the scoop and the hood molded correctly so that the lines of the CF flow, cause messing with CF and modding is hard work and take time

That is an aftermarket hood obviously on that mustang, which means that scoop was BUILT for an american car. WTF is with all the hate? That style of hood scoop was first built for porsche's in the 80's. So no, no new ones have it. In fact i don't even like it on the mustang. But that is the best picture i could find of what i've been talking about.
