What should I do?
Whats up everyone. I'm new to the boards and wanted some help. I want to lower my cl b/c it will look much better and will handle better (will a 2.0 inch drop make the car scrape a lot?). What is good for regular street use and how much will it cost? Also, I have subs in the trunk, and even though the trunk is dynamatted it still rattles. Everyone's help will be appreciated.

id go with a 3 inch drop, i like them clean and slammed!, and make sure to get aftermarket shocks, my car was 3.5 inches before but it rubbed my fender liner to much to the point where i smelled rubber at every stop light hehe, but yea 3 inches would be nice and comfy

if i do the 3 in. drop, how much will a decent camber kit cost? Also, what methods have cl drivers done to rattle-proof thier car? my infinity subs sound really clean but the damn rattling drives me nuts!

hehehe....
definetly get aftermarket shocks if u lower ur car...i slammed mine w/ coilovers and i am still riding on what's left of the stock shocks and while having a bouncy car is fun sometimes..it can also get really annoying.
the drop..i agree w/ lower than 2 inches, a CL is a good car to slam...mine is as far down as the coilovers will go in the front and about the same in the back, there's a 1 finger gap on all 4 wheels...so i would say prolly 3 inches.
does it scrape? not really...only on driveways that are on an incline..it doesnt scrape on speedbumps..although i wish it did...i was so excited when it scraped for the 1st time it's a wonderful sound...
and when i lowered my accord camber kits cost me $500 bucks, installation and alignment included. i would imagine somewhere along those lines..depends on ur hook-ups

I would go with a spring/shock combo if your plan on usin ur car as ur daily drive i went with a sleve type coilover and im hatin the ride but the drop is nice..as far as scraping i scrape everything...but for everyday use springs and shocks if ur on a budget but if ur not opt for the teins you can have a great ride and slamm the shit outta ur car!
