reconstruted, it means it was in an accident, stolen, flood, or something that made it undriveable, if you exactly what happened than i woudl say its ok to buy it, many people are very afraid of it cause of hidden damage, but if the car runs and drives good, go for it, i bought my 99 2.3CL with an R title for 4500.00 with 42k?? now is that a deal.

An r-title is what we call a salvage title in Cali, usually it means that it was totaled and rebuilt or sold to a dismantler and rebuilt(in Cali dismantlers that resell cars can only sell them w/a salvage title)

It's a R-Type, meaning it was reworked to JDM Type R which has to be reported.

whats the official brand of the title?? i woudl jsut say stay away if it says flood. but if its been crashed and repaired its no big deal, you can save tons of money, its a good idea to buy a R-titled car if you plan to stay with ti for a while. cause resale goes downthe crapper.
